THIS WEEK: Marcelo Rios (up from 8 to 5) wins _another_ clay tournament - who's going to stop this guy? Well, the SRI Rankings computer set to work on the clay court results of the past year, and discovered five players to rank higher than Rios. This is rather surprising, but note that #1 Costa is probably not 100% fit, and the next three have limited results for the computer to rate on clay. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to examine the draw, but I believe Costa and Rios are due to meet in the quarter-finals. The winner of that should go through and win the title, but it would not surprise at all to find a hard-court specialist in the final.
